For this review we has the pleasure of tasting La Fiesta. Located in Enid, La Fiesta has been in business for over 20 years. Known for the huge margarita's and large portions. On a busy Friday evening we were lucky and got a table for 5 very quickly. The friendly attentive wait staff brings out queso, salsa, chips and tortillas.
We requested what I call the "relish" it's a bowl with onions, carrots and jalepenos marinating in their own juices. It's prefect on a chip or added to a tortilla.
Our food came with in 10 minutes of ordering. The kids got burgers and fries, if asked they will say its the best burger ever. I myself got the Maria's Old Fashioned Taco plate. It's 2 lightly fried corn tortillas with a choice of beef and beans OR chicken and rice. With a side of rice and beams. I opted for one chicken and one beef. The food arrived with huge portions. The lettuce tomato and cheese overflowing on the tacos. The beef taco had right amount of seasoning with the crunch of the friend corn tortilla. The chicken was shredded in big chunks adding some of the relish to spice it up.
Overall La Fiesta offers a good atmosphere with a proven track record of great Tex Mex food. The portions are large, the service was on point, and the price was reasonable. The taste offered less heat than I prefer, but by far better than I can cook at home. And overall scrumptious.
4 out of 5 forks.
